REGISTER / SIGN-IN
It takes just a few moments to register, and then you will be able to download watermarked comps, add items to your shopping cart, add images to your Lightbox(es) and submit custom shoot requests. If you are new to reallatinoimages.com, you will need to complete the registration form. To access the registration form, click the SIGN-IN link in the upper right corner of the screen, then click the SIGN-UP button in the SIGN-UP NOW! box. Once the registration form appears, fill out the fields. A red asterisk indicates required fields. For your username you must enter a valid email address, then enter a password. Your password cannot contain the characters ' ” %. Once you have registered, your username and password will be stored and secured.
If you are already registered, click the SIGN-IN link in the upper right corner of the screen. Then sign-in using your username (email address) and your password, and click the SIGN-IN button. If you have forgotten your password, click the “Forgot Your Password?” link. The password will be sent to the email address that you have entered or that appears on the screen.
NAVIGATION HELP
Homepage: To return to the homepage at any time, simply click the large REAL LATINO IMAGES name at the upper left of the screen, or the smaller version which appears at the lower right of the screen. The homepage presents several links which are briefly described below. The right side of most pages on the website will have a basic keyword/category search function, along with links to go to Advanced Search or Search Tips pages.

Search Tips: This page has useful tips for finding images, and explains our Advanced Search tools.

RIGHTS MANAGED & ROYALTY FREE IMAGES
Rights Managed Images are images which are licensed on a per use basis strictly for a particular use, medium, period of time, print run, placement (i.e. cover), size of image, territory and other restrictions as stated in the Real Latino Images License/Invoice agreement. License fees range in price depending on usage. You can use the Price This Image tool or contact our customer sales center to determine an exact price. To see all the terms related to the licensing of a Rights Managed image, go to Terms of Use and then to Paragraph 15 for specific rights and restrictions.
Royalty Free Images are images which are licensed for an unlimited usage for a flat license fee. No, royalty free does not mean free! It simply means that you have the flexibility to use the image without needing to set a time period for the usage and without a restriction on how many times or projects it can be used for. Royalty Free images can be used in multiple projects for multiple purposes consistent with the license agreement without an additional fee. This could be particularly helpful if the picture is a key to a marketing plan and is to be used on a number of collateral advertising pieces to be developed from time to time. MODEL / LOCATION RELEASE
A Model Release provides the written consent of the people contained in a photograph to allow the photograph to be used for commercial purposes; each person having waived all privacy and publicity rights.
A Location Release provides the written consent of the owner of a building to a photographer seeking to photograph the property and use the images commercially.
LIGHTBOX
A lightbox is a selected set of images stored for future reference. If you are not registered with and signed-in to the Real Latino Images website, a temporary default lightbox will be created when you select images to be placed in the lightbox. Saved lightboxes are associated with your username and password, and can be named, renamed, viewed, or deleted.
Your lightboxes are displayed on the left of the page, with options to rename or delete to the right. You can create and name new lightboxes as well. By clicking the lightbox name, you can see all of the images within the lightbox in the same format as a search return. You can then view image details, download a comp, price the image, or send the image to your shopping cart. You can also delete individual images from your lightbox(es).
SEARCH HELP
You can browse for images using keywords, concepts, image number or category. You can narrow your search using the search filters such as “Royalty Free” or “Rights Managed.” The Advanced Search tool allows you to search for images based on very specific parameters. For more information see SEARCH TIPS or ADVANCED SEARCH.
ACCOUNT HELP
In the MY ACCOUNT section your account data is stored on secure servers. In this section you can view and manage your account data, such as your contact, billing, and payment information, your email address and password, and your order history.
Account Information: This is the information you provided when you registered on the Real Latino Images website. You may edit this at any time.
Billing Information: You may choose to use your Account Information data for your Billing Information, or you may provide different information for this section. You may edit this at any time.
Payment Information: This section allows you to review and edit the payment information we have on file. You may edit this at any time.
Email Address and Password: A valid email address is required to register on our site. You will select your own password. We have no access to your password. If you forget your password, enter your email address and click the “Forgot Your Password?” link on the Sign-In page. The password will be sent to the email address that you have entered or that appears on the screen.
You may change your username and password once you are signed-in. Choose the USER NAME & PASSWORD link from the MY ACCOUNT pages menu. On the resulting page you will be able to change your username to a different valid email address. You will also be able to change your password.
PRICING ITEMS
Royalty Free Images: Pricing selected images may be done in a couple of different ways, based on options that you select online. From a search results or lightbox page, click the $ below the image that you would like to price. The Image Pricing pop-up page will appear. Select the size/resolution/price that you wish to purchase by clicking the appropriate radial button and then click the ADD TO CART button. From a search results or lightbox page, you may also click the actual image to be directed to the Image Details page. The Image Details page will also have a selection of radial buttons to choose the size/resolution/price that you wish to purchase. You may also add the image to your cart un-priced. Lastly, click the ADD TO CART button.
Rights Managed Images: Pricing selected images involves selecting the usage and parameters for which you would like to license the image. From a search results or lightbox page, click the $ below the image that you would like to price. The Image Price Calculation pop-up page will appear. Make selections from each pull-down menu that appears, based on your intended usage of the image. After the last selection, click the “Get Image Price” button. This will return a price for this image based on your selections. You may change any of your selections, but make sure all pull-down menu selections are correct. When you receive the image price, you may then click the ADD TO CART button. From a search results or lightbox page, you may also click the actual image to be directed to the Image Details page. The Image Details page will have a PRICE THIS IMAGE button. Click this link to be directed to the Image Price Calculation pop-up page. You may also add the image to your cart un-priced.
ADDING ITEMS TO YOUR SHOPPING CART
To add items to your shopping cart from a search results page, click on the shopping cart icon below the image you want. This will place the item in your shopping cart un-priced. Later, you can access your shopping cart and select the option to calculate the price of the image.
From the search results page you can click on the image and this will open up the complete details for that image. For Royalty Free images, the sizes available, along with their corresponding prices are shown and selectable. After you select a size and price, you can then add the image to your cart. For Rights Managed images, click the PRICE THIS IMAGE button and this will open up the pricing selections page. From the pricing selections page, you will select the usage, duration, and other parameters for which you would like to use the image. The final step is to click the PRICE THIS IMAGE button, which will return the resulting price for the image, based on the parameters you selected. You can then add the image to your shopping cart.
PURCHASING HELP
Shopping Cart: After you have finished shopping you can review the items in your shopping cart. You can verify the Image Details, Delivery Method and Price.
You can also remove an item from your cart by clicking “REMOVE FROM CART” in the “UPDATE” column. If you have any items in your cart that have not been priced yet, click on the “PRICE THIS IMAGE” link. This will direct you to the appropriate Royalty Free or Rights Managed pricing options for that image. If you want to re-price an image that you have in your cart or your order, click “RECALCULATE PRICE” in the “PRICE” column.
Once you are satisfied with the contents of your order, you can proceed by clicking the “PROCEED TO CHECK-OUT - STEP 1>” button. Make sure you click the checkbox signifying that you have read and agree to the license(s) for the images.
Checkout Process: Customer and Billing Info - Step 1 of the Checkout Process
The “Customer Information” box refers to the customer purchasing a product from Real Latino Images. This information is fed directly from the information you entered when you registered on the Real Latino Images site. The “Billing Information” box refers to whom is paying for the purchased Real Latino Product. If you want the Customer Information to match the Billing Information, click the check-box within Customer Information section. Click “edit” to change any of this information.
Next, choose a payment method on the right. You may select to pay with a Credit Card, or if you are associated with a company account, you may select the Company Account (Purchase Order) option. Your selection will take you to the appropriate Payment Information page.
Payment Info - Step 2 of the Checkout Process Credit Card
Enter your credit card information here. All fields on this page are required. Enter the name exactly as it appears on the credit card. Do not use dashes or spaces within the “Credit Card #” entry field. Select the expiration date from the pull-down menus. Your “Verification Code” is usually printed on the back of your credit card, in the signature box. If not, contact your credit card company. When you are satisfied with your information, click the “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT - STEP 3>” button.
Company Account
Enter your Company Account information here. All fields on this page are required. Enter your Company ID number. This number identifies the company responsible for payment. Enter your internal Purchase Order number that is used for reference purposes. Enter your name as the authorized user of the company account. When you are satisfied with your information, click the “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT - STEP 3>” button.
Confirm Order - Step 3 of the Checkout Process
This is the final step in the Checkout Process. This page will display all customer, billing and payment information you have entered. For credit card orders, only the last 4 digits of the credit card will be shown. This page will also display the products/images and details of each item to be purchased as well as their individual prices, the subtotal, tax, shipping, and TOTAL price for the order. If you are satisfied with all this information, click the “PLACE ORDER” button once. Do not click the “PLACE ORDER” button more than once. The order may take some time to process, so please be patient.
Order Confirmation Page
Upon successful completion of your order, you will see your Order Confirmation page. This page will include links to download the product(s)/image(s) included in the order. You may also return at a later time to access the download function for your images from your My Account/Order History page. You will also receive a confirmation email that will include your order details and license information. Please print this out and retain for your records.

PAYMENT METHODS
Credit Card: Real Latino Images accepts all major credit cards. Your card is charged at the time you place your order.
Company Account: A company account can be established for credit terms or tax-exempt purchasing. If you are interested in establishing a company account, please Contact Us.
COMPOSITE (COMP) IMAGES
A Real Latino Images watermarked “comp” image is ideal for spec work and other for-position-only uses. You must be registered on the Real Latino Images site in order to access “comp” images. If you have not yet registered, you can quickly do so by clicking the link in the top right corner of the website. Once you have registered, simply click an image from your Search Results, Lightbox, or Image Details page, and then click the “DOWNLOAD COMP” icon. For more info see DOWNLOADING COMP IMAGES below.
Real Latino Images grants you a non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-transferable right to download and use a Comp image for layout purposes only and for a single project for up to a maximum of 90 days from the date you download the Comp image. All other rights are reserved by Real Latino Images. Provided that you abide by the Terms of Use when using the Comp image, no license fee will be charged for your use. You may not remove any copyright, watermark or other notices contained in the Comp image. See Terms of Use for full details on the terms of the Comp License granted. If you are interested in using a Comp image after the 90 day period, you must purchase rights to the image at our website.
You must contact Real Latino Images to obtain a license for additional use.
DOWNLOADING COMP IMAGES
To view comp images on our website you must be a registered user, and you must be signed-in (logged-in) to the website at the time you want to perform the download comp action. Watermarked comp images can be accessed by clicking on the image. To save a comp, click and hold the image (MAC), or right-click on the image (PC) and select “Save Picture” or “Save Picture As…” option from the pull-down menu that appears. Choose the destination file where you want to save the image, then click “save” and the image will begin to download to the chosen location. Note: If prompted to save as format Source or Text, select Source.
DOWNLOADING PURCHASED IMAGES
After you have purchased an image at reallatinoimages.com, you will be given the option to download that image from you Order Receipt/Image Download page at the completion of your transaction. If you have difficulty downloading the image or need to return to the website to download the image at a later time, you can access previously purchased images through you Order History page located within My Account. For Rights Managed images, your downloading privileges will automatically expire on the date your usage license terminates. Those images will still appear in your Order History, but they will be “EXPIRED” and therefore no longer downloadable. If you wish to extend your license agreement, please contact us. If you cancel the purchase and usage of an image that is included in an order of multiple images, that image will appear as an item in your Order History, but it will no longer be downloadable.

If you would like to change the status of your answer to this question, you will need to access your “MY ACCOUNT” page to select or deselect the checkbox for this option.
