The faces of real Latinos are as diverse as the countries in which they emigrated. Real Latinos encompass several races and many origins. From Central America to South America, from Puerto Rico and around the Caribbean, Real Latinos are young, old and in-between. Only here, at Real Latino Images, can you search for and find the main groups, the sub-groups and the true depth and breadth of who we are and what we look like.

All individuals shown in the Real Latino collection have identified themselves as Latinos/Hispanics. The only exceptions are images showing large cultural events featuring people of various nationalities as well as interracial couples where one partner may not be Latino/Hispanic.

Real Latino Images consists of a team of individuals who are bilingual and bicultural. Thus we’re able to bring to our images the cultural reference points of the Hispanic market. We created our library of images using a proprietary technology called Acculturation Stock Photography Technology. This revolutionary technique was derived after years of work in Hispanic marketing and cultural marketing – not just in the U.S. but in several Latin American countries, as well.

Acculturation is the cultural modification of an individual or members of a group as they adopt some of the traits and characteristics of the dominant culture. When Latinos move to the United States from countries as diverse as Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Columbia, Argentina or Brazil, they bring with them the rich culture and diverse traditions of their home countries. As they establish themselves in their new country, they adopt many U.S. traits, characteristics and practices which contribute to their success. At the same time, however, Latinos retain the culture, values and beliefs of their home country. The process of acculturation varies from one person to the next.

Are you looking for an image to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Hispanic Heritage Month, or Día de Los Muertos/Day of the Dead? Are you seeking images you can use in a campaign for wire transfers, banking, home appliances, automotive, department stores, healthcare, insurance, or furniture? No matter what Latino photos you need, Real Latino Images offers you images from the cultural reference point of the customers you’re trying to attract and retain. And don’t forget, all the models in Real Latino Images have identified themselves as Latinos.  The only exceptions are interracial couples where only one person is Latino and cultural events/processions that attract individuals that are interested in Latinos or Latino events/festivals.

Our Collection
The Real Latino Images collection (Real Latino) is created by a team of people who are both bilingual and bicultural. Thus we’re able to bring to our images the cultural reference points of the Hispanic market in the United States. We created our library of images using a proprietary technology called acculturation photography. This revolutionary technique was developed after years of work experience in both Hispanic marketing and cultural marketing --- not just in the United States but in several Latin American countries, as well.

To be in the Real Latino collection the models must identify themselves as individuals with an origin in any Spanish-speaking country as well as Brazil. All individuals shown in the RLI collection have identified themselves as Latinos/Hispanics. The only exceptions are images showing large cultural events featuring people of various nationalities as well as interracial couples where one partner is not Latino/Hispanic.

What is Acculturation?

Acculturation is the cultural modification of an individual or members of a group as they adapt some of the traits and characteristics of the dominant culture. The result of successful acculturation is a group of people who embody the best of both cultures.
